A total of 29 people are still unaccounted for from Italian cruise ship Costa Concordia, Italian coast guard chief Marco Brusco said in a television interview, according to the state ANSA news agency.

Still missing are four crew members and 25 passengers. Authorities earlier said 16 people were missing.

The ship hit rocks Friday night off Italy's western coast, killing at least six people.

Rescue efforts resumed earlier Monday after being temporarily suspended when the partially sunken vessel began to move, officials said.
