The New York Giants beat the New England Patriots 21-17 to win Super Bowl XLVI Sunday night in Indianapolis. It is the team's fourth Super Bowl title.
The Giants last won the Super Bowl in 2008, when they beat the New England Patriots 17-14, ending the Patriots' bid for a perfect season. The Giants other Super Bowls wins were in 1991 and 1987.
Giants quarterback Eli Manning now has two Super Bowls rings, one more than his brother, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning.
An estimated 111 million U.S. viewers were expected to watch the Super Bowl this year, which is also the first year that fans could watch the game online.
Next year's Super Bowl is scheduled to be played on February 3, 2013, at the Superdome in New Orleans.
