The JetBlue captain whose midair meltdown led to an emergency landing has been charged with interfering with a flight crew.
According to an affidavit, Clayton Osbon on Tuesday left the cockpit of Flight 191 from New York to Las Vegas after behaving oddly. The co-pilot locked him out of the cockpit, and crew and passengers subdued Osbon in the cabin. The Airbus A320 was diverted to Amarillo, Texas.
Osbon, 49, has been suspended pending an investigation and is receiving medical treatment, the airline said on Wednesday.
