Lockerbie bomber Abdelbeset Ali Mohmed al Megrahi has died, a spokesman for the Libyan foreign ministry said Sunday. He was 60. He had returned to his native Libya after the Scottish government released him in 2009 on the grounds that he had cancer and was believed to have a short time to live.
