Mitt Romney appeared for the first time with his newly announced running mate, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, on Saturday at the start of a four-day, four-state bus tour for the Republican ticket.
In his first public remarks since being named as the vice presidential candidate, Ryan told supporters, "This is a crucial moment in the life of our nation; and it is absolutely vital that we select the right man to lead America back to prosperity and greatness."
