President Barack Obama in his acceptance speech at the Democratic convention will frame the November election as "a choice between two fundamentally different visions for the future," according to excerpts.

"I'm asking you to rally around a set of goals for your country -- goals in manufacturing, energy, education, national security and the deficit," he will say, setting a target of reducing the deficit by more than $4 trillion over the next 10 years.

Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will be the featured speakers tonight at the close of the convention.
