At least one person is dead and several are injured after a possible tornado in Kemper County, Mississippi, emergency management spokesman Greg Flynn says.
The storm may bring twisters, damaging winds and large hail to Alabama, Georgia and the Florida Panhandle as it moves east, the National Weather Service says.
It’s already blamed for damaging homes in Missouri and Arkansas.
