Former Charleston City Councilman Curtis Bostic conceded to former Gov. Mark Sanford in the South Carolina 1st Congressional District Republican runoff.
The result sets up a May 7 showdown between Sanford, whose career was sidetracked by an extramarital affair, and Democratic candidate Elizabeth Colbert Busch, the sister of satirist Stephen Colbert.
