Counterterrorism drone strikes have killed four Americans since 2009, Attorney General Eric Holder acknowledged in a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy.
The letter said that one of the four was American-born Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki and that the other three "were not specifically targeted by the United States."
