Attorneys for Colorado theater shooting suspect James Holmes filed their intent for him to plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
In April, Arapahoe County District Attorney George Brauchler said he intends to seek the death penalty in the case. The July 20 shooting rampage left 12 people dead and 58 wounded.
