Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been charged with murder in the death of Odin Lloyd, a prosecutor said in a Massachusetts courtroom Wednesday.
The Patriots released Hernandez hours earlier.
Lloyd's body was found less than a mile from Hernandez's home.
