The Catholic Church will declare Pope John Paul II a saint, the Vatican said.
The Polish-born pope was fast-tracked to beatification when he died in 2005 and became "the blessed" six years later -- the fastest beatification in centuries.
Pope John XXIII, who convened the Second Vatican Council in the 1960s, also will be declared a saint.
