U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said that a chemical attack in Syria last week was "inexcusable" and "undeniable," adding that there was "a clear reason that the world has banned entirely chemical weapons."

Kerry said that President Barack Obama "will be making an informed decision about how to respond" and "believes there must be accountability."
