Clothing and soil samples collected after an August 21 chemical weapons attack in Syria have tested positive for sarin, the UK prime minister's office said today.

The samples, tested at a British laboratory, were taken from a person who reportedly was treated after the attack. The UK is sharing the information with the United Nations, the office said.
